Recording Payments
Once you have paid your debts, you can record the payments you have made in the Pay Off Debt app. There are several options for doing so:
- Tap the Record Min. Payment button to record your payment for an individual debt.
Note: Tapping the Record Min. Payment button for the first debt in your list will record both the minimum payment entered for that debt and the amount in Configure Snowball. Tapping Record Min. Payment for any other debt in the list will record only that debt's minimum payment amount.
- Tap the Record Custom Payment button for an individual debt, enter a custom payment amount, and click apply. This will record a custom payment amount for an individual debt.
- Tap the Record All Payments button to record all of your payments at once. This will also record the amount in Configure Snowball against the first debt in your list.
- Once you have tapped Record Min. Payment, Record All Payments, or Record Custom Payment, the current balances will be automatically estimated. (However, please note that this is ONLY an estimate.)
- You can also simply tap each debt to edit the current balance amount to exactly reflect that debt's current balance.
